Our Story
Find the perfect balance of rustic and elegance you’ve been seeking for your dream wedding at The CrossRhoads Farm.
In today’s age of consumerism, we find ourselves confronted with burgeoning social pressure to seek needless extravagance when we celebrate. Nowhere is this difficult trend more omnipresent than in the wedding arena. We believe it is time to break away from the norm, to simplify, and to focus on providing a beautiful, unique venue in the rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania.
The CrossRhoads stands as a relic to a bygone era, once serving as the centerpiece of the largest garlic ranch in the region. Bursting with original character and modified to accommodate your big day, the barn is event-ready without losing its rustic charm. Featuring multiple levels for seating and dancing and a bar in the old garlic drying room, one will be hard pressed to find another space just like this one. Rural scenery outside and exceptional perspectives inside will provide your photographer with a multitude of opportunities to capture unique and exciting angles of your ceremony. Situated on 300 plus acres, the venue is in close proximity to Cook Forest and includes both a beautifully landscaped outdoor ceremony site and a freshly repurposed indoor barn reception area. The entire venue is nestled among vibrant summer flora and a mural of colorful fall foliage. The evening view from atop the hill is a breathtaking vista of an expanse of farmland and an endless horizon painted by various hues of orange and pink. Inside the barn, a platform for the head table overlooks the dance floor, and caterers will find a convenient concrete floor with access to running water and electricity on which to stage the reception meal.
