Hey Friends!
“That’s a Wrap!”
We are excited to officially announce we are taking Estate of Grace Farm to its next chapter in life! We began our journey in late 2012 and it has been the most amazing and rewarding 7 years of sharing your parties, gatherings and new beginnings. The Good Lord promised HE would provide and wow, did HE ever! Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine we would be so blessed. We have laughed and cried and shared with so many of you and we truly believe that everyone who passed through those doors was supposed to be there.
The greatest part about sharing the farm has been how our family was able to all come together to work the events…our staff has been our kids and our kids’ friends who have become our family. If you attended one of our events you know how hard they all worked with amazing work ethics and a desire to make our guests feel like they were truly catered to…cared for…and felt they had been somewhere special. Our kids are all grown up and off chasing their own dreams and we are so very proud of the paths they are on.
We have been very much in prayer over the last year for the direction to take the farm. We have found ourselves in that place most small businesses come to…you either have to grow it to the next level, which changes your original purpose, or you decide this is as far as you want to go.
I am so happy to announce that my sister Wendy and her husband Jack are going to make the home their private residence! This was something we had discussed several years ago and the timing for them was not right and thankfully just as I was ready to retire everything has worked out for them as well.
Many of you know that my heart has always missed being in my art classroom and just as the Lord made a way for The Farm, HE once again opened the door for me to be back doing what I love the most, teaching art. I can’t even imagine how fun it is going to be to have weekends off again and I am so looking forward to spending time as “Cessie” with all my baby girls!
God is so good…all the time…so is “HIS TIMING”…if ever anyone could shout a “Praise The Lord!” For HIS timing, it is me. HE has put me exactly where I needed to be and I have learned to trust in that with all surety.
I want to thank each and every one of our followers and guests and family and friends for the amazing support and love you have extended to me. Thank you for trusting us with your special events. Thank you for all the comments and recommendations and kind words you have shared that spread the word about Estate of Grace Farm. Thank you to my sister Wendy for always managing all the social media and photos and all the other ways she has been there for me…especially being my biggest cheerleader! Thank you to everyone who worked as our staff…our valets and interns…and especially Meredith who worked almost every event with me since the beginning! Most of all I want to recognize my son, Andrew, who was with me through the darkest of days as we began the restoration of The Farm. None of the remodel would have been possible without Andrew. He also managed all the rentals and setups/takedowns as well as ongoing care of the grounds. I love you son!
Thank you all for giving me so much joy as your host at Estate of Grace Farm…it has been a blessed privilege!
