I owe you all a bit of an apology… I’ve been quiet for a while. Life stepped in and pulled me away—but I’m back. ✨

Island Feud is on the back burner for now… but something far more dangerous is already taking shape.

I’ve officially started working on the next Madame Mystique Murder Mystery Party—coming this January.
Ticket sales will open around September/October… and if you’ve played before, you already know how this goes.

Keep your eyes open… little Easter eggs will be dropping soon. 🖤

Madame Mystique here… ✨

Yes, next year’s Murder Mystery is already in the works. (I don’t know how to do things halfway.)

But I’ve been craving something a little lighter and wildly interactive for this season.

I’m considering launching Island Feud — a live, Family-Feud-style game night all about Padre Island.

Community teams.
Fast rounds.
Big buzzer moments.

Before I move forward…

That chapter is wrapped. 🖤✨

The first murder mystery taught me a lot — what landed, what needed tightening, and what I want to do differently next time. There’s nothing like seeing a room full of people actually play to show you what works.

The interactive games really confirmed what I love most — creating moments where people jump in and play — and I’m excited to keep building that here on the island.

I’m already thinking ahead for next year.
Upgrades are on the list —
• better food
• deeper immersion
• tighter gameplay
• smarter, more interactive side games

I’m taking what I learned and building forward.
Same love of games. Bigger vision.

✨ The 1st Annual Island Whodunit is officially in the books! ✨

What an incredible night — and I’m still riding the high.

From the amazing players who fully committed to their characters, chased clues, made deals, and took bold guesses… to the volunteers who kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes — this event was a HUGE success because of YOU.

💛 To our participants: thank you for trusting the process, leaning into the mystery, and bringing the game to life. You played — and it showed.

💛 To my helpers: I truly could not have done this without you. Your flexibility, energy, and support made all the difference.

🍾 A very special thank-you to Cindy, Jenny, and the entire crew at The Slip for being incredible partners — welcoming this wild idea, supporting the vision, and helping make the space absolutely perfect for the night.

🦐 Thank you to Hometown Seafood Company for donating gift cards for our prize winners!

There were laughs, twists, scheming, a few surprises, and yes — a couple of real-world hiccups (live events keep you humble 😅). But even those just confirmed what I already knew: this format works, this community is incredible, and this is only the beginning.
