Sometimes newborn photos don’t happen exactly when you planned. 🤍

I always recommend booking before baby arrives, and most newborn sessions are done during those first 1–3 weeks. But birth, recovery, and life don’t always go according to plan.

So if that newborn window has passed, please don’t assume you’ve missed your chance.

This sweet girl came to see me at 10 weeks old and was an absolute dream. She cooed, smiled, made the sweetest eye contact, and even gave me a little laugh. And once she fell asleep, we were still able to get some really precious sleepy poses too.

I’m so glad this family still came in.

Your baby doesn’t stop being worth documenting just because the “ideal” newborn window has passed.

If life happens and you bring me your baby a little later than planned, I’m going to do everything I can to create something beautiful for you. 🤍

🎓 Class of 2027 — I’m looking for a few seniors for an upcoming senior model call!

I’d love to find seniors with their own unique style, personality, interests, hobbies, or creative ideas for their session. I’m especially drawn to sessions that feel personal and a little different from the usual.

Parents, grandparents, family members, friends, or even the seniors themselves can nominate someone.

If you know a Class of 2027 senior who would be a great fit, comment below with their name, school, and a little bit about them — what they’re involved in, what they love, their style, or something that makes them uniquely them.

And if they have a fun location in mind or an idea they’ve always wanted to use for senior photos, I’d love to hear that too.

Selected seniors will be offered a discounted model-call session in exchange for allowing me to use the images for my senior portfolio, website, and social media.

Holiday sessions are coming! 🎄

This year’s studio setup is a beautiful black + white Christmas set with greenery, twinkle lights, stars, and warm neutral touches. It has a really pretty, classic holiday feel without being overly bright or busy.

It also gives you a lot of flexibility with outfits. You can dress things up with a more elevated holiday look, or keep it casual with coordinated outfits. Jewel tones, neutrals, black, cream, denim, and classic Christmas colors will all work beautifully with this set.

These sessions are perfect for kids, siblings, or the whole family.

I’ll be opening select dates throughout **November only**. Just a reminder, I do not offer family or holiday sessions during December. Keeping these sessions in November gives me plenty of time to edit and deliver your gallery while you still have time to order holiday cards, prints, and gifts.

I’ve marveled over and soaked in so many beatiful sights, as well as enjoyed cooler weather

As I arrive back home I’ll be easing into messages and start back with edits and gallery deliveries early this coming week.

If updating your family photos has been on your to-do list, now is the time to get on my calendar.

I’ll be out of the office later this week, and when I return I’ll be finalizing dates for this year’s Holiday Sessions.

I currently have only about **12 weekend spots remaining before December**, so if you’re wanting classic, non-holiday family photos this fall, I highly recommend reaching out soon.

And I know I’ve run into quite a few of you **out in the wild**—the grocery store, crowded public places, etc.—who have told me you need to book a session.

Let’s get it done. 😂

My **Weekday Evening Beach Special** will also continue through September and October.

Just a reminder: I do **not** schedule family or Holiday sessions during December. December availability is reserved for Maternity, Newborn, Cake Smash, and Birthday sessions only.

I just love babies with...
-squishy cheeks and rolls
-teeny tiny babies

-LOTS of hair
-a fuzzy little balding head

-full pouty lips
-tiny little rosebud mouth

-teeny little hands and feet
-big sausage fingers and long toes

-wrinkly newborn skin
-smooth plump skin

-squishy curled up bodies
-long stretched out legs

-gorgeous shiny dark hair
-beautiful bright blonde and red toned hair

-small soft cries and whimpers
-big set of healthy lungs that can be heard from outside

Look, who am I kidding? Every baby that comes in has some amazing characteristic that I just gush over with the parents. All of my tiny clients are just the most perfect beautiful babies I've ever seen. I don't know how all the people with beautiful genes find me in particular, but I'm not complaining one bit!
Keep them coming, I'll be here to freeze all those little perfections in time.
