Nueces County Burn Ban
If you have a bonfire booked with Third Coast Events please contact us so we can work something out.

The ban includes all outdoor burning and beach fires. The ban is effective immediately in the Nueces County area.

While we were packing for surgery, praying through pre-op scans, and Googling “how to sneeze after spinal surgery without dying,” a new event was suddenly booked through our website.

Why?
Because we blocked off the original surgery date in October, like total pros. But when the whole procedure got bumped up to the end of July, and everything went from zero to titanium in six days flat… we, uh… forgot to block those dates, too.

So... while we were in Houston strapped into a back brace and floating on hospital snacks and Dilaudid, a gorgeous proposal popped off on the beach.

But here’s the best part: It. Was. Perfect.

Why?
Because Mandy and Royce stepped in like coastal superheroes.
They set up. They showed up. They crushed it.
They handled everything with the same salty magic we’re known for and didn’t even roast us once (to our faces).

And just when we thought we couldn’t feel any more proud, Chasing Sunshine Photography sent the pics. Cue the happy tears, the soft lighting, and the moment she said YES with sand between her toes and her forever in front of her.

We may have missed this one in person, but the love, the laughter, and the Third Coast touch were all still there.

Lesson learned: block the calendar.
But more importantly: build a team you trust with your whole salty heart.

Congratulations to the sweet couple, and cheers to many more memories, whether we’re on the sand or healing from screws and sass.

We’ll be back soon. But until then…

Screwed (Literally), but Still SCHEDULING 🤪

Let’s keep it sweet … Well, salty. Or is it salty sweet?

Tess here... and today, I’m officially recovering from a major back surgery that decided to show 3 months up early. So while I’m out on unpaid FMLA, laying low and healing slow, Third Coast Events is still up and running!

BUT ONLY BECAUSE WE HAVE
a crew of PADRE ISLAND LEGENDS who deserve their own shout Outs. But, let me give some details first!

Yes, we’re still booking small but beautiful events on Padre Island
– Simple weddings (no chairs, just vows)
– Cozy bonfires for two or twenty
– Surprise proposals or sunset celebrations (think birthdays, back to school, etc)

And YES, if you already had something on our calendar, it’s still happening. EVEN if it's down in Port A! I’ll be there behind the scenes! Either face timing the details or playing passenger princess with the A/C on full blast, depending on the day, location, and crew!

This island shows up for its own... and so does my Third Coast Events team! This is a team of VOLUNTEERS, mind you!

Truth is, we used every penny of our Third Coast Events savings just to prepare for this suddenly urgent surgery. Pre-op costs, travel, tests, the works. And we honestly thought we’d be completely out of commission…
