Seaweed, bonfire holes, rain, and wind all tried to have a say in this beach wedding, but thanks to an incredible team of people, it all came together beautifully.
The bride and her bridesmaids created all of the floral arrangements themselves, and every piece was beautiful. Nikki, Shawn, and Eden were absolutely amazing and cleared every visible speck of seaweed from the wedding area. David and Jeanette, along with their kiddos from Nueces Party Rentals, went above and beyond by unloading, setting up, wiping down, and later breaking down and reloading all of the tables and chairs, all while facing the reality of still having to get everything home and cleaned of salt and sand afterward. They are truly one of a kind.
We also had to do a little improvising along the way, from carrying a hesitant flower fella down part of the aisle until he spotted his mama, to relocating the DJ speakers and live music by Rip Tide Cowboy under the main tent when the original setup plan changed.
By the end of the night, everything came together so beautifully. Our security guards made sure nothing but seagulls crashed the party, the bartender kept the drinks flowing, El Charly’s Taqueria fed every hungry guest and helping hand, and the DJs kept the announcements and music on point all evening. A special blessing from the bride’s grandpa left everyone in tears, and the glow sticks, lit-up leis, custom cookies, card table, dance floor lights, and large tent from Party Tent Rentals #1 all added to such a memorable celebration.
