Join The Kickback as we celebrate PRIDE 🌈 with Pride Corpus Christi especially with our LGBTQIA+ family here in the Coastal Bend 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️.

Electronic Dance Music (EDM) owes its very existence to the LGBTQIA+ community. Born in the underground, q***r, and BIPOC nightlife scenes of the 1970s and 80s, the genre was created as an escapist haven for marginalized groups before eventually being commercialized into a global mainstream phenomenon.

As the owner of Hybrid Records for over 10 years and a selector with a passion for vinyl DJing, disco, funk, and groove-driven sounds, Charlie Highway was the perfect choice to headline Late Night Discoteca.

You can catch Charlie Highway bringing his signature sound to Lucy’s Downtown every Thursday evening from 7 PM – 10 PM, where he curates an atmosphere filled with soulful grooves, disco cuts, and timeless selections.
