🌈✨ TONIGHT! ✨🌈

Join us at Weird Corpus tonight, June 18, 2026, from 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM at the Art Museum of South Texas in Corpus Christi!

We’ve been working on so many amazing projects for tonight, especially for the LGBTQ+ community, and I’m so excited to finally share them with you! šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆā¤ļø

I’ll have two brand-new handmade journals available tonight. Unfortunately, there just wasn’t enough time to make more, so these will be first come, first served. I’ll also have a selection of Pride-themed wallets available throughout the evening.

As soon as we get set up, I’ll be showing everyone what we created! šŸŽØāœØ

We’ll also be giving away some fun beads, buttons, and stickers, so stop by, say hello, and grab a little something to celebrate Pride Month! 🌈

Here’s a fun leather dye technique using shaving cream!

I started with butcher paper on the bottom, then placed a metal tray inside a cookie sheet (both from the Dollar Store). Next, I spread a layer of shaving cream and added Angelus leather dyes.

If you want full color coverage, mix in a base color first. For a more marbled look where some of the natural leather still shows through, use a toothpick to swirl the colors lightly without fully mixing them.

Press your leather into the shaving cream and let it sit for about 30 seconds so the dye has time to absorb. Then remove it, wipe off the excess shaving cream, and let it dry.

After it dried, my husband burnished the edges, sealed the leather, and finished the piece. Some of these card holders were stitched with rainbow thread for an extra pop of color.

The leather, dyes, and thread came from Tandy Leather, but you can find similar supplies at most leathercraft stores. The dye I used was Angelus Leather Dye, and yes—it needs to be leather dye since we’re working with leather.

What do y’all think of this technique? Let me know in the comments! 🌈✨

šŸ“ Tomorrow night, these leather pieces will be on display at the Art Museum of Corpus Christi for Weird Corpus, hosted by Emma!

This is a FREE event featuring lots of amazing local vendors, artists, and creators. Since it’s Pride Month, you definitely won’t miss me—I’ll be the one in the rainbow dress! 🌈

Come say hi, check out all the incredible vendors, and enjoy a fun evening downtown. Hope to see y’all there!

Happy Mother’s Day 🌷

Some of you know my story, and some of you don’t.

Years ago, after dealing with cervical pre-cancer and hearing difficult things from doctors, I was told that I may never have a child. At the time, I was younger and motherhood wasn’t even something I had fully thought about yet. But once I got married, something shifted in me. All I wanted was to become a mother.

My husband and I had already been married for two years, and although the odds felt stacked against us, I never fully let go of hope. I had family, church members, and so many people praying for me during that season of my life. And somewhere deep inside of me, I believed there was something greater than fear… greater than statistics… greater than what was being said over my future.

Every time I looked up at the sky, I felt reminded to keep believing. To trust in God, the Universe, Source — whatever name speaks to your soul — and to believe in what could not yet be seen with my physical eyes.

So I kept believing. I kept praying. I kept trying.

If you know me, you know I don’t give up easily.

And then one day… my prayers were answered.

I truly believe my son heard me before I ever held him. Somewhere out there in this vast universe, I believe he knew I was ready, and once he knew, he found his way to me.

So today, on Mother’s Day, I just want to say this to anyone longing for a child, praying for a miracle, or holding onto hope by a thread:

Don’t give up.

Believe in something bigger than yourself. Believe beyond fear. Believe beyond timelines. Believe beyond what the world says is possible.

Sometimes faith looks a little ā€œdeluluā€ to everyone else… until the miracle arrives. ✨

Happy Mother’s Day to every woman carrying love, hope, and dreams in her heart today. šŸ’•

Happy Mother’s Day to my mom in Heaven. šŸ’

It’s been 12 years since you left us, and not a single Mother’s Day goes by without me thinking of you.

We didn’t always see eye to eye, and our relationship wasn’t perfect. There were years of hurt, misunderstanding, and resentment that I carried for a long time. But one thing I never doubted was that you loved me, and I hope you always knew that I loved you too.

After I had Tyler, we started finding our way back to each other. We were healing. We were building something better, and for the first time in a long time, it felt like there would be more time for us.

But life had other plans.

Losing you so suddenly broke something in me, and I still wish I could have had more time, more conversations, more memories with you.

No matter what we went through, you were still my mother. And I will always be your daughter.

Happy Mother’s Day, Mom. I miss you. šŸ¤ ā¤ļø

POV: You’ve officiated weddings long enough to KNOW better šŸ˜‚

This is exactly why I will NEVER ask ā€œdoes anyone object?ā€ at a ceremony… because in my head I already know how that would go šŸ’€

After almost 13 years of officiating weddings, we keep it peaceful, beautiful, and drama-FREE… because ain’t nobody about to ruin their moment on my watch šŸ¤

I don’t know how to put this… but I’m kind of a big deal šŸ˜Œā€

This right here is the beautiful
Chapel on the Dunes
— one of the most iconic little chapels on the Texas coast.

šŸ“ Location: 203 S 11th St, Port Aransas, TX
🌐 Website: chapelonthedunes.org
šŸ“ž Phone: (361) 749-0385

I’ve been officiating weddings here for almost 13 years šŸ¤ and I’m actually listed on their website under weddings & events. This place holds such a special place in my heart—I’ve partnered with them for years and I always recommend it.

This chapel has been around since the 1930s (yes… almost a century šŸ˜) and people come from all over just to see it. It’s even been featured in articles—including one I was part of with American Marriage Ministries where I talked about my favorite places to get married… and this one was #1 for me.

✨ A few things to know:

* Perfect for elopements & intimate weddings
* Holds about 20 guests max
* Not always open to the public (you’ll need to check with the local museum for tour days)
* Booking is EASY—pick your date online and go from there

If you live near
Port Aransas or even Corpus Christi… this is one of those places you have to experience at least once.

For me, every time I go, it feels like a little piece of heaven 🌊
And yes… my family waits in the car because they already know—we’re about to go eat or explore after šŸ˜‚

If you’re dreaming of something small, meaningful, and unforgettable… this is your place.
