I am so humbled to wake up this morning and learn that Taylor Grace Designs has won the The Knot Best of Weddings for 2023 and Wedding Wire Couple Choice Awards for 2023.

The feeling of gratitude is truly an understatement. Trudging through the pandemic, and barely working for almost two years as San Diego and the state of California was the first city and state to shut down, and the very last state to reopen for weddings and large social events.

2022 was an absolute whirlwind as events and opportunities came flooding in and I took every opportunity to do it all. ! 😃

THANK YOU to our amazing vendor partners who worked tirelessly on each and every event to make it perfect. THANK YOU to my amazing couples and clients who gave me the creative freedom to design for your very important day and make memories that will last for us both. I appreciate your thoughtful reviews that allowed me to come out on top.

It's that time of year again! We love being able to vote for local businesses we love and enjoy working with. Alignable is a fabulous networking partner and is hosting the 5th annual 2023 Local Business Person of the Year and voting polls are now OPEN!
This year, collectively as a group, we are focused on businesses that took life in, through, and after the pandemic to a whole new level by raising the bar even higher in bringing customer service up along with collaboration and support to each other as small business owners.
Community over competition! Stepping in to help our own respective industries however we could, to ensure, we all saw it through.
For me personally, I helped florists execute their rescheduled events which meant creating and delivering florals for clients that I hadn't spoken to. I stepped in for wedding coordinators to ensure their clients day went off without a hitch when they were overloaded with rescheduled weddings. And I assisted local Coronado businesses in volunteering my time when finding reliable employees has been difficult. Community is what it is all about.
Well - I already maxed out my votes and I hope you do too!

Lavish Modern Coronado Wedding | PartySlate

Excited to be featured on Party Slate and coupled with a fabulous vendor team for the Lavish and Modern wedding of Allyson & Justin. A traditional Catholic ceremony was held at the Immaculata Catholic Church. Family and friends then joined them to celebrate at Feast & Fareway Bar and Restaurant at the Coronado Golf Course. Aerial florals draped over the dance floor while Dancing DJ Productions kept the music going all night!

Danny and Ashley both wanted a destination wedding near the ocean. Living in Wisconsin, they toured the west coast coastline looking for the perfect venue for their perfect day. The beautiful Cape Rey Carlsbad Resort fit their vision and laid-back style. They said I do in front of their family and friends with the perfect sunny San Diego weather that they traveled so far for!!

Maggie and Nelson decided to make San Diego their destination wedding location and we couldn't be more happier that they did!

Currently living in Seattle, they wanted to create a rustic and elegant event that their guests will talk about for years to come. The Darlington House in La Jolla created a close and intimate feel that they were looking for.

We designed custom pieces to make their day special and one of a kind.

It's finally June 15th and we are cheering too!
