Due to the high probability of rain throughout the remainder of the week, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend’s race event to a future date.

We know many teams and fans make travel plans in advance, and we wanted to provide as much notice as possible. While we were hopeful the forecast would improve, the continued weather outlook would not allow us to provide the quality racing experience everyone deserves.

A rescheduled date will be announced soon. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued support, and we look forward to seeing you all back at Cordele Motor Speedway very soon!

Cordele Motor Speedway officials are keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for this weekend’s events. We know many teams and fans have travel plans to make, so we will have an official decision announced by 6PM tonight to help everyone plan accordingly.

We’re saddened to learn of the passing of 2012 SpeedFest winner Kyle Busch.

Kyle was one of the fiercest competitors our sport has ever seen and his impact on motorsports will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Busch family, his friends, team members, and fans during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Kyle.

We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.
