Santa's coming to town. 🎅
Christmas in Coquille is almost here!

Join us on Saturday December 2nd for a day full of CHEER! 🦌
This event is for all ages and will be fun for the whole family!

Some events to highlight are:
Eagles Craft Bazaar: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 🎀
Parade of Lights: 5:00 p.m. ✨
Tree Lighting: 5:45 p.m. 🎄
Santa & Stockings: 6:00 p.m. 🎅
Crafts & Cookies: 6:00 p.m. 🍪

There will be new changes this year as well which include the High School Jazz Band on the Community Center patio and sing-a-long carols for the tree lighting!

Come on out to City of Coquille National Night Out at the Coquille Community Building! NWTF Oregon Coastal Cutters Chapter and the Coquille Community Co****le League are set up in the Small Auditorium! Come shoot some BB Guns, toss some bags, say hello to the Coquille Police Department & Coquille Fire & Rescue, and eat some free hot dogs and hamburgers!

Be a positive voice for our community!!

Applications Available For Vacant Council Position -

A City Council position is vacant due to the resignation of a member. The City Charter requires that any vacant elective office be filled by appointment of the remaining members of the City Council.

Anyone interested in being considered for this appointment is required to fill out an application available from the City Recorder and should also submit a letter expressing their interest and outlining their qualifications for this office.

Interested parties must be a qualified elector in the City of Coquille and have resided within the City of Coquille continuously during the previous twelve-month period.

The application and letter of interest can be delivered or emailed and must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on Monday the 14th of August, 2023. Postmarked dates will not be accepted.

If appointed to the City Council, the person will fill the unexpired term of the previous Council Member and will continue through December of 2024.

Letters of interest should be emailed or delivered to Raebecca Kilcoyne, City Recorder, 851 N. Central Blvd, Coquille Oregon 97423 prior to the deadline or emailed to [email protected].
