Wedding florals aren’t just cut stems + fresh water. Boy, would my life be easier if it was.

Every flower that comes through our studio gets its own care plan:

🌸 Some arrive dry-packed and need extra rehydration before they’re even usable
🌸 Some want the cooler. Some hate the cooler.
🌸 Some need their stems burned to seal and drink properly
🌸 Some need to be fully submerged just to wake back up
🌸 Some need hydrated with their packaging on to keep from drooping

And then there’s the real skill: timing. Every flower blooms on
its own schedule. Some take a couple of days to open up, some need a full week. Getting every stem to peak, lush bloom on the exact same day, wedding day, takes years of learning each flower’s rhythm.

We call it flower babysitting. After 100+ weddings, it’s still
the part that takes the most attention and the least credit.
