When you attend a birthday party for one of your daughter's besties on a gorgeous coastal day and bring your gear along, say "not making any promises" (just to establish realistic boundaries) and then all the stars align, your settings are on point, the TOTES understands the assignment, and you end up rounding off over 1K shutter clicks with this as your final cull list for the day ✌️🤣 🤷‍♀️📸💋 | Curtis Candids Photography

Y'ALL... IT WAS JUST A 4 YEAR OLDS BIRTHDAY PARTY. She did choose a Peppa Pig Princess theme though, so I mean... fair 🤷‍♀️ Mama went all out on the details, and her girl squad SHOWED UP! 👸💪😎💛

Sessions will last between 15 and 20 minutes, guaranteeing a minimum of 10 high resolution images; however my sessions are not capped; meaning what I'm happy with, you WILL receive in your final album, with no hidden fees, and free of my watermark. Final albums are delivered via online gallery for download within 48 hours. All sessions include a complimentary print and media share release. Sessions are $125 with a deposit required to hold. While deposits are non-refundable, they are transferrable to another date should something come up! I understand life happens and strive to stay flexible!

Dragonfly Metamorphosis | April 2026

Have you ever seen the metamorphosis process of a Dragonfly? Neither had I! I was lucky enough to stumble across a dragonfly nest in full meta boom yesterday while at the lake with family and friends. The entire process took just a few hours, and was fascinating to watch! I photographed around 8 in total, and watched each and every single one gain their strength to fly away 😍📸

I can't tell you how many times I've chased dragonflies to no avail. I was simply looking at the flowers near the base of an old stump when I suddenly realized what was right in front of me! Stunning detail can be found in even the smallest of creatures if you stop and look closely 💛
