Struggling to write a caption right now as I hold my sick 10-month-old. I can’t help but think about the countless parents out there caring for sick children. I feel incredibly grateful for the ability to spend the day with Hazel in my arms. I truly love the flexibility I have to edit and work from home.
Now all I can do is hope and pray she doesn’t get sick on a wedding day! Haha. I’ve been asked this question many times, so I thought I would answer it here (it’s also in my contract, of course). In the event of an emergency circumstance where I’m unable to shoot, I have a list of trusted photographers with similar shooting styles who would step in to cover the wedding for me. I would still handle the editing.
This way, your wedding is still beautifully captured, and the pricing and contract details remain the same—with minimal stress!

This sweet girl convinced me to go out during the snow storm for a session haha! It was so much fun and the images turned out beautifully. I did indeed fall, I was so embarrassed. Thankfully they were kind about it. 😂 I had a pregnant belly and expensive camera to keep safe so falling the “right way” was important.
