For those who may not know, we will be welcoming baby #3 at the end of this year! That being said, November 9th + 10th will be the last weekend that I will be booking events as I will be starting my maternity leave. I will still be available to consult on event design, but day of services will not be available again until the new year. I'm planning to be back mid February!

This spring + summer has been the season of bridal and baby showers, and this fall is shaping up to be all about weddings! Thank you to each of my clients who have trusted me to play a small role in your special day and previous clients who have referred new business to me over the last few months. Your support means the world! 💜

Kids birthday parties are one of my favorite events to plan! Everything is so magical when you look at it through their eyes, which makes it that much more rewarding when the plans come together. 💕

My Top ✋🏼Event Planning Tips

1. Start Early ⏰
It's important to start preparing and planning the event well in advance for several reasons - coordination + booking with vendors, allowing guests with enough time to respond to RSVPs, stress reduction and more!

2. Stick to Your Budget 💸
Determine what you're comfortable spending for the venue, decor, food + drinks and stick to that amount. I will happily work the event design to fit within your desired budget.

3. Create a Timeline 📝
Timelines help keep everyone involved with the event on track and on the same page when it comes to your expectations.

4. Hire a Photographer 📸
This message is for the moms especially - we always have our phones in our hands to capture sweet memories with our kids. Let a photographer be the one to do that for you!

5. Work With Me! 🙋🏼‍♀️
From our initial planning meeting down to the very last detail on the day of your event, I'll be with you every step of the way!

Event planning is one of the most complex and rewarding jobs available. Managing budgets, sourcing vendors, creating schedules... there's a lot to do! I personally love to use the SMART goal-setting method in the planning process:
