THIS IS A POST FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.........
I saw & commented on a post here. The client was upset because of what was sent. Instead of what they ordered. This will happen almost 90% of the time. With a reputable florist..... It always angers me the money that the clients pay v/s what they actually get.
As a florist of 23 years. I will give a educated explanation of why this is what usually happens when a client orders from one of these ORDER STEALING companies l!!!
The florist was probably paid between $150 & $170. But for this arrangement to be made with the recipe like the picture this is the breakdown & total of what Teleflora should have paid them.....
$90 for ribbon , easel & heart. $200 for the flowers & foliage. X's 25% for labor = $72.50 + taxes ( not on labor) $20
+ average delivery $12 TOTAL OF ALL should be $395 Minimum. This is how all of the order steelers operate. All of the pictures are NEVER equivalent to what they pay the florist.
So in order to do this easel, it is not going to happen. Teleflora probably told the florist to " FILL TO VALUE ". Or " As similar as possible."
The arrangement sent should have cost between $120 & $150
$75-$90 in just flowers & foliage.
Vase $12. Labor $18-$22. Taxes $6-$8 Delivery $12 - $15. TOTAL for all $120-$150 ish... BTW ... The name of the florist is always on the card. So you can call the florist directly & ask what exactly what was ordered. This is the way this all works. When you are searching for a florist. Look up their address. Their website. If there is no address or their own website. It is more than likely an ORDER STEALING company.....So PLEASE order from an ACTUAL LOCAL FLORIST 💜
