We set and ready to go in Rock Hill at Winthrop University! Softball is finishing up the second game of a double header, people are pouring in to hear some live music and anything but butts is getting ready to start! On site judging tonight at 6:30! Hope they ready for some brisket dirty rice!

This weekend we took a rain soaking trip down to Monks Corner for The Bootleggers BBQ Cook Off. It went down at the Berkeley Shrine Club. Greg & Paul always put on great competition. This year 21 teams came out to play. Bull’s didn’t get to walk but we were consistent enough to finish
7th in pork
4th in ribs
4th place overall

The SCBA year has come to an end. This was our first year cooking in the South Carolina Barbecue Association and after the checkered flag dropped we finished the final standings at a respectful 10th in Main Meat & 10th in Ribs. They score your best 10 events but we only cooked in 9. Thanks to all the teams that helped us out along the way and congratulations to the teams that finished ahead of us. We set up at the Florence Flamingos stadium in Florence, SC. Getting ready to slang some chicken wings to the public. Last event of the year and it is stacked. 15 teams fighting for that money and trophies. Serving BBQ to the public starting tomorrow at 11:00 am. Come see us at Carolina Bank Field!

Bull's BBQ & Melvin Holt made the trip to Fort Dorchester High School this past weekend to compete in the Beta Butts and Wings Competition. This was a SCBA sanctioned comp. The weather was not friendly but these guys did an amazing job raising money for pediatric cancer. Eight of the 13 teams were in the top 10 in the state. All in all we finished

3rd Ribs
5th Chicken
3d Overall
