- If there's one thing that's true about BBQ fans, it's that they also have their fingers on the pulse of the Available Worship Leader scene. Now's your chance to prove right this adage.

- Brisket.

If you missed Sunday’s service, you missed a big announcement! Our beloved Worship Leader, Wendy, and her sweet husband, Kevin, have felt God calling them to Texas, and they are following that call. Wendy’s last day as our worship leader will be Sunday, June 30th. Please join us in praying for their transition. We will miss them deeply, but pray that God’s glory continues to be magnified through them as they follow His plan.

One of the strongest recruitment strategies during this time will be recommendations from within our church body. If you know someone who could be a match for the role, please encourage them to apply at https://www.mosaicconway.net/join-our-team. The application form also serves as a referral form if you wish to recommend someone for the position. Those recommended for the role will be contacted by the Search Committee to discuss their interest and potential next steps.

As we seek our next worship leader, please join us in praying for unity and God's blessings. We trust in God’s plan and trust Him to lead us in this search.

The Woodshed was honored to serve a healthy crew of 60ish for a rehearsal dinner tonight at The Brick Room. It was the full spread - they wanted me to pull out all the stops. So I did not withhold any stops.

Terri Hourigan, thank you for being an overall joy to work with.

Gina Flake, thank you for making the connection. You are now head of Marketing. (I don't know why it didn't tag you.)

It’s no secret that The Woodshed is a maniacal supporter of youth basketball (😒) , so it was a pleasure to have some pulled pork and homemade sauces featured at the state basketball tournament for homeschooled young humans of Arkansas.
Many teams won.
Others lost.
But we can all agree that, if you had some of what The Woodshed offered, you also won. Maybe. Or lost. Hard to say.

Basically, life's just one big crapshoot, people.

"Jimmy" from Home Alone was introduced in such a dramatic way that it sure looked like he was gonna play a much bigger role in the film/franchise.

And if you don't know who "Jimmy" is right now, the next time you watch, you'll see. Then you'll think, "yeah, Woodshed guy was right."

What up. I just wanted you to know that the good folks at Ensono got 'Shedded today. 35 wonderful faces fed.

And, yes, they paid me for it.

Noteworthy here is that I introduced two new items: brisket and shmancy mac & cheese. (To be clear, these were only "introduced" as go-forward Woodshed catering options; I'm pretty sure the Ensono folks were already well-acquainted with both brisket and m/c.)

****UPDATED - Turkey price has decreased. That was quick.****

Hey, look. I'll be offering a few "special event" items for the upcoming holiday season. Also, they'll henceforth be available all of the time, whether it's a holiday or just a Hungry Thursday.

Please note the statement about pricing. I'll just be covering cost. I ain't out to bleed anyone dry. Therefore, pricing will also fluctuate based on store prices. The costs given are just solid estimates. And I'll probably come down on them if I feel we have a special bond, or if you ask me nicely, or if you compliment my attitude or something. That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.

I have 2 pounds of pulled pork, 5-10 rolls, Angry/Sweet sauce, and 32 liters of being impressed for the first person who can tell me:
What movie shaped me so deeply in my childhood that I, to this day, whilst vacuuming, will exert extreme diligence to prevent the vacuum from running over its own cord. It's just not gonna happen.

I changed my mind. Forget it all. The brisket will not be $15 per pound, it'll be $0 per pound. Giving away is much better.

I have 3 pounds of free brisket left. Raise that hand if you want any.

Greetings. I have a time update for you.

First, it's 6:40pm.
Second, it's Brisket Time.
Third, it's never not Brisket Time.

All this to say: I smoked up a brisket yesterday and its yield was 6+ pounds.

I am making this brisket available to my loyal followers for $15 per pound, and I'll deliver it to you. You will not pay under $20 for brisket from any local establishment. Not to say they're not awesome, they just love you less than I do.
