If you are like us and wondering how in the world we are going to keep our kids off screens this summer… here you go 😂☀️📚

Check out your local libraries and see what they have to offer! Most of the libraries around here have FREE summer reading programs that are seriously so fun and actually make reading exciting for kids. And honestly, libraries are not what they used to be when we were kids. There are so many resources now for all ages.

They even have books that read to kids now 😂 Soooo if you need 5 minutes to step outside and scream into the void, no judgment here. And honestly, if a book is reading to your child while you take a second for yourself… like that's a win win in our book🤣 At least they’re learning something.

And for the adults saying “I don’t read books, I do audio,” get yourself a library card and sign up for Hoopla or Libby. Free audiobooks, ebooks, movies, kids content, and more. It honestly cuts costs so much. They also have so much more to offer past the traditional library services.

You’ll definitely be catching us at the Constantine, Cassopolis, and White Pigeon libraries this summer and we would absolutely love to meet new people too 💚

And when I tell you the library staff at all of these locations are SOOO amazing, I mean it. They have been kind, helpful, welcoming, and genuinely excited to help families and kids enjoy reading and learning this summer 📖✨

Look at these cutesy little snail garden stakes 😭🐌🌿 We are absolutely in love with them and snagged TWO to use as prizes for our First Annual Garden Tea Party June 6th from 1–3 PM! We seriously cannot wait to see who ends up taking them home and which leafy little friend they end up hanging out with in the very near future 🪴✨

Our tea party event will officially be closing THIS SATURDAY at 5 PM and we only have a few spots left, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us, now is the time 💐

This is going to be such a cozy afternoon with pretty photo ops, dreamy garden vibes, tea, flowers, chatting, laughter, and all the little touches we’ve been working so hard to bring together 🌸☕✨ Attire is Modern Bridgeton vibes, so grab your best floral or honestly whatever makes you look in the mirror before leaving the house saying "who's that girl" WowZa :)

And truly, thank you to everyone who has shared our posts, joined our clubs, attended our events, supported our little ideas, or even just stopped to say, “We really need this in our community right now, keep up the good fight.” That support means more to us than you know. One of the coolest parts of all of this has honestly just been meeting new people. A lot of the people coming to these events are not people we’ve known forever, and the openness of people willing to show up, try something new, and connect over shared interests has been really refreshing. In a world that feels so divided sometimes, that feels really special.

Calling all thrift lovers, garage sale queens, and people with random pretty things stored away in totes 😂🌸🫖

As we keep getting closer to our first annual Garden Tea Party, we are realizing there are sooo many little details that go into bringing this vision to life. Before we go buy things full price, we thought we’d ask our community first because we know some of you probably have beautiful things tucked away somewhere and may want to make a buck of it.

We are currently looking for things like:

• Light pink, white, floral, or crocheted lace tablecloths
• Serving platters and tiered trays
• Pretty drink dispensers or drink containers
• Floral plates or mismatched vintage style plates for serving
• Tea party style decor that fits the soft romantic modern day Bridgerton vibe

Honestly if you have anything you think could fit the theme, send us a message because we may not even realize we need it yet 😂

We are happy to borrow items or possibly buy secondhand depending on what it is. Thank you guys for helping us make this event feel so special already 💕

The part about planning that no one always shows 😂

We’re over here working on our tablescapes, serving platters, and realizing our tables might need a little more zhuzh. But honestly that’s part of the fun, and we’re taking you guys along while we bring this whole vision to life.

Think garden blooms, vintage teacups, dreamy little details, sweet treats, and all the soft romantic modern day Bridgerton vibes. We want this to feel like stepping into a storybook garden party where everyone can dress up, feel pretty, sip tea, snack on good food, and just enjoy an afternoon together.

Join us for the first annual Garden Tea Party June 6th from 1 to 3. We still have a handful of seats left, but they are starting to go quicker, so if you’ve been thinking about coming, definitely grab your spot soon ✨🌸🫖
