Hi there! I am Cayne Hobson and above is my little family. My beautiful wife Jordan and the two little guys are Calvin and Charlie, our two sons. We are expecting a third son in Februrary, 2020! We are very excited to meet him!
We own and operate The Final Draft Films and The Farmer’s Daughter Photography. Better known as TFD Photography & TFD Films, and we love capturing all the important moments in our clients lives.
We grew up just down the road from each other in rural central Iowa. We attended the same school a few years apart. We started dating when Jordan was attending Iowa State University. She then later received her Marketing Degree from Buena Vista as I was working at the Iowa Veteran’s Home in Marshalltown, IA.
We started The Farmer’s Daughter Photography in October of 2012. We knew then that this road was the one we wanted to take. Two years later we purchased our building on Main Street in Conrad,IA. We gutted the building and created a beautiful photography studio together doing all the work ourselves, as we have done many times before. We love to make things our own. We did both work full time jobs elsewhere, but then TFD Photography got so busy, Jordan was able to quit her day to day, and became a full time photographer. We are so blessed to have amazing clients that love our creativity and personal touch and allow us into their lives.
After being in the wedding industry for several years we realized the need for videography was increasing. Since we do continuing education and many courses through out the year, every year, to stay up to date on the newest equipment and trends, it was an easy decision. I have been taking recreational videos since I was able to get my hands on a camcorder as a freshman in high school. I decided to go all in on equipment and started creating videos for clients. With all of the knowledge from photography and the equipment, it was an easy transition and although I still love photography I have found a whole new world with professional videos.
