The Marriage Game will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 @ 7:00p.m. WE ARE STILL NEEDING COUPLES TO COMPETE!! This will be a BYOB event along with food vendors. It's hard to believe, but it's that time of year again! We will be accepting Get In The Cloud applications June 1st, 2026 through June 26th, 2026.
Along with the application comes the Small Business Development Classes. These classes are provided free of charge to those who wish to apply for a Get In The Cloud Grant. In the first class you will learn the 3M's: Money, Marketing, and Management, in the second class, you will learn Cash Flow Made Easy. Both of these classes will make filling out your application easier.
3M's Class - Tuesday, May 5th, 2:00 - 5:00pm
Cash Flow Class - Wednesday, June 3rd, 2:00 - 5:00pm
If you are a current business owner, these classes are not required for the Get In The Cloud Grant, but if you are not a previous business owner, they are both required.

FIRST CALL FOR COUPLES TO COMPETE IN THE MARRIAGE GAME!! Spring is in the air and exciting things are being organized for the Broadway Plaza. We are just a few signatures away from contracting some great entertainment for Summer 2026. One of our first events will be the Plaza's very own Marriage Game. We have been asked by several people if we can show the Lady Panther State Basketball game today (Tuesday) The Concordia Panther girls basketball game will be shown on the big screen today at 4:00pm!!! It's a beautiful day to watch the big screen at the Plaza and cheer on the Lady Panthers on their run for a State Title.

The big day is almost here! Bankers Loan and Trust Company Building will finally be getting her hat back!! Join us at the Plaza tomorrow morning, Friday, February 20, 2026 at 8am! Be sure to dress warm! Just think what a great tale this will be to share with your grandchildren someday!

The tower roof is being assembled today in preparation for its installation tomorrow morning. Join us at the Broadway Plaza to watch the installation. They will be starting at 8:00 am and expect to be lifting it up between 8:30 and 9:00. When you get to walk up to it, its size is pretty impressive, and it should be fun to see it going down the street on a trailer.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Nick is an accomplished leader in rural economic development and growth strategy. He has been recognized for his inclusive approach toward regional sustainability and is driven by the creation of replicable, scalable solutions. Nick has extensive experience in recruitment, retention and expansion projects, public-private partnerships, nonprofit development, impact investing, community development, and entrepreneurship consultancy.
Before joining the team, Nick launched and directed a 24-month pilot initiative in conjunction with the Kansas Department of Commerce to evaluate and support the workforce development needs of the Kansan tech sector and bring technology-focused education and employment opportunities to underserved communities across the state. During this time, he targeted access to computational learning for PreK-12 students, becoming a partner on the code.org (CSTA) advocacy coalition.
Nick and his family are now anchored in the heartland community of Phillipsburg, Kansas — the rural childhood hometown of his wife, Tami.
