Your Great-Grandmothers and Grandmother would be so incredibly proud of you—maybe even more than Poppa and I am. You’ve embodied the strength, grace, and determination of a powerful Black woman (A Gray Woman), showing the world what’s possible when you set your mind to something and chase it fearlessly. I’m beyond grateful to call you my daughter. You’ll always be held high in my heart, on the highest pedestal. I pray nothing ever breaks your spirit or the bond we share.
