So it just happens to be Dan Stockemers' birthday on the 25th..so he is inviting everyone..as long as it lasts...to enjoy a piece of birthday cake! We will celebrate his 75th birthday..and all those attending celebrating a nearby birthday, and we hope you can join us. Dan can be found giving hayrides on the trailer around the pasture.

The grounds are looking so much better with this wonderful rain. The purple hyacynth beans are simply reveling in the rain! Its going to be a beautiful fall culminating in our Sunday, October 25th Fall Family Festival...music and kites and haystack rides..face painting and awesome vendors.
It dog friendly with no admission charge. Please join us and pass along to your friends!

Elderslie Farm is having their fall festival this Saturday..always wonderful!

Saturday, September 26th from 8AM-10PM

Bring the whole family for live music, kids’ crafts, yard games, delicious food, local vendors, and Tiny Hinies Petting Zoo from 9–11 AM. And of course, there will be plenty of good food and drinks for purchase to keep the celebration going all day long.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for kids ages 3 and up.

Last year we had hundreds if not thousands of beautiful Monarc Butterflys stop by on their way south to Mexico. Just this week in late September we have them returning. I have seen at least 20..flitting around and playing in the flowers. They seem to like our purple hyacynth beans as well as our mid size sunflowers. Maybe check out botanica this weekend..imagine they will be all over that beautiful place.
Join us next Tuesday for dinner with Roberto and me. I will give a garden tour for sure!
