📣 VENDOR STATEMENT / ANNOUNCEMENT
To all our incredible Pride 2026 vendors and sponsors:

First and foremost, thank you. Every single one of you stepped up in a year when it would have been easy to step back. Without your commitment, your creativity, and your belief in this community, the 13th Annual Columbus GA LGBTQ Pride Festival simply would not be happening. You are the reason Pride 2026 is still alive.

This year has been one of the toughest we’ve ever faced. Funding cuts, political pressure, and logistical challenges have made every step a battle. But we refused to let Pride be erased — and so did you. Because of that, we are filling every inch of Woodruff Riverfront Park to make this festival happen. Yes, it may feel more packed than usual, but that’s because every space matters this year.

We are investing heavily in security to ensure everyone’s safety. We’re paying out the kazoo for it, but it’s worth every penny to protect our community. I’ll explain all of that — and more — during our vendor meeting.

So please join us Tuesday at 2:00 PM on Zoom for a quick 30‑minute information exchange.
We’ll cover:
• Power access
• Water access
• Setup logistics
• Space layout
• Security
• Any questions or concerns you may have

If you need power or water, this meeting is absolutely essential.

Thank you again for standing with us, for believing in Pride, and for helping ensure that Pride 2026 not only happens — but shines.

See you Tuesday at 2 PM.

— Jeremy
Executive Director, ColGay Pride of Columbus Georgia

13th Annual Columbus Georgia Pride Pageant — Official Event Recap

The 13th Annual Columbus Georgia Pride Pageant was nothing short of unforgettable. Our newly crowned King Prince St. James and Queen Naomi delivered performances that lit up the room. They didn’t just compete — they gave their all.

Naomi, in particular, brought a spark we haven’t seen in years. The moves. The presence. The fire. She embodies a new era of energy, resilience, and pride for the Columbus LGBTQ+ community.

Every contestant deserves applause. Each one brought heart, talent, and authenticity to the stage, making this year’s pageant one of the strongest lineups we’ve ever seen.

A huge thank‑you to our host, 2021 Miss Columbus Georgia Pride Monica Alexander Star, who kept the night flowing with humor, charm, and pure entertainment.

We also extend our gratitude to our supporters and sponsors:
⭐ Starship of Columbus, Georgia
⭐ Patricia Hutto Walker
⭐ Matasha, our Vice President and Director of Entertainment

To everyone who attended — thank you for showing up, showing love, and showing Pride. And to every performer who graced the stage with grace, power, and artistry: you made this night shine.

With a brand‑new indoor venue keeping us cool and comfortable, this year set the tone for what promises to be an exciting, vibrant, history‑making Pride season.

Columbus, get ready — this year is just getting started.

Correct Location Context for 499 16th Street, Columbus GA
499 16th Street is on a short dead‑end road that connects off 5th Avenue, just north of 15th Street.
It is NOT near the beige metal building in the image I showed earlier — that was incorrect.

---

🚧 Current Traffic Issue (Your Report)
A train is blocking:

- Hamilton Road
- 5th Avenue crossing

It has been sitting for 30+ minutes, so southbound drivers coming from Columbus cannot reach 16th Street using Hamilton or 5th.

---

🚗 Correct Detour (Your Route Is Right)

Anyone coming southbound should:

1. Stay on Veterans Parkway
2. Turn LEFT onto 15th Street
3. Turn LEFT onto 5th Avenue
4. Take the FIRST LEFT — that dead‑end is 16th Street, and 499 is right there

This avoids the blocked rail crossing entirely.

Here's a visual of 499 16th Street in Columbus Georgia please avoid if you're coming southbound from Columbus off of Hamilton road or 5th Avenue do not go that way go straight down veterans parkway and make it left at the 15th Street if not cuz there's a train blocking the road it's been there for 30 minutes so just go down to 15th off of veterans make a left there then make another left on 5th Avenue and it's the first left up there Dead end road
