The Platte Valley Rib Fest is scheduled for June 26-28, 2026, at the Ag Park in Columbus, Nebraska. This year's event promises three days of entertainment, culinary delights, and live music. Some of the highlights include¹:
- *Performers:*
-*Lookin’ For a Star” singing competition, with the winner moving on to compete at the State Fair with Galaxy of Stars. Whiplash, northeast Nebraska’s Top Outlaw band will close out the night with a rocking performance.
- *Fire and Lace*, a tribute band to Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks, and Fleetwood Mac, performing on Saturday night
- *Angie Kriz and the Polkatoons* on Sunday
- *Local talent* will also be featured throughout the event
- *Activities:*
- Food and craft vendors
- Kids Zone with activities
- BBQ cooking competition (still accepting participants)

Join us for the Platte Valley Ribfest, where music meets excitement. The event kicks off on Friday night with the 'Lookin' for a Star' singing competition finale, with the winner advancing to the State Fair, followed by a high-energy performance by Whiplash RJ, accessible with a free will donation. On Saturday, Streetlight Curfew will launch the evening with an opening set for Fire and Lace, our tribute band paying homage to the legendary hits of Pat Benetar, Steve Nicks, and Fleetwood Mac. Tickets can be secured in advance for $25 and for $30 on the night of the performance through Venmo or PVE members. Sunday's lineup features Angie Kriz and the Polkatoons performing in the club room for a $10 cover charge and 1C church taking the grandstand stage with a free will donation. Mark your calendars for June 26 to 28 and experience the best of music, fun, and entertainment at Ag Park in Columbus.

Our Kids Zone will be featuring the most fantastic activities for kids, like face painting, games from the masters at All Fun And Games, a dunk tank to dunk your favorite people, the one and only Human Slot Machine and, because why not, a giant sand pile!
