Ever wonder what you need to know when asking for backdrops or ceiling sweeps?
I get asked all the time how much will the ceiling sweeps or backdrop do cost. I would love to just be able to give you an answer right away but there is so much information I need to give you an accurate quote.
Here is what you need to give your designer:

1)the venue name( they may already be familiar at with all its measurements and owners requirements when it comes to attaching items to walls or ceilings

2) measurements: length, width, height of room (if for ceiling sweeps, or height you want backdrops)

3) backdrops you need a style you at least an idea. Show designer the style of your other decor or a Pinterest pic.
I find using the latest trend words don’t always portray what you personally are looking for in design. Meaning everyone’s idea of a word could be different. Pictures clarify what style you are going for perfectly.

4) sometimes designers have that light bulb moment where a design pops up in their head that would just look out of this world. It probably is not something you would have envisioned(that’s why we are here) go with it. Be a trend starter, make your wedding or event totally you,not a copy of what you have seen done in the past.
