DeeAnna and Daniel were supposed to get married in Topiary Park, but it ended up being a very rainy day. So the Main Library was kind enough to let all 20 of us use their Art Gallery for the ceremony. And that, my dear people led to some amazing banter between the groom's brother and myself.

"Look at these people CHECKING OUT the bride"

"Yep, shame she is about to be OUT OF CURCULATION"

WHO IS THE HANDSOMEST RING PUPPY?

Easy Answer: It's Charlie.

Addison and Emily brought their beloved pup to be part of the fun for their Old Man's Cave elopement. Not only was he was exquisitely dressed for the day - matching top hat and all - but he also sat patiently through their heartfelt vows. He was most certainly a good boy. Congrats you three!

I really love trying to capture a couple in the ceremony I write for them, but it is an additional delight when they also capture themselves in some way. For Andrea and Kevin, it was in the ornaments they had created as take-aways for their guests and the signature drinks they named after their dogs. I had the chance to help them get married this past weekend and it was a hoot. We had so much fun during the ceremony that the groom's mom didn't have a chance to cry.

for taking care of not only the DJ side of things, but for playing live piano for everyone during the ceremony as well.

Good gravy was yesterday a fun time. Sam and Lily are two enthusiastic game-playing cosplayers who fell in love and, several years later, asked me to perform their ceremony. The day was beautiful and blustery, their vows were heartfelt and funny, and their crew were upbeat and lively. It was just a perfect event. Their Youngstown Cookie Table was delicious too.

Shoutout it Garrett for taking care of thing behind the decks. Lily's musical picks were on point.

I love the Hocking Hills area at all times of year. Even in either the coldest or the warmest months, it's still a great spot for a hike or a wedding. That's where Jim and Jennifer brought their family for their wedding this past weekend. They stayed at a lovely lodge and we had the ceremony on the back deck overlooking a small ravine and pond. My 4/20 wedding this year was for Emily and Andrew here in the Brass Eye rooftop bar at the Junto Hotel. It was brisk at 10am, but the skyline was beautiful. They shared some heartfelt vows and their first kiss as a married couple with a few fluffy clouds passing by overhead. Great way to start the week.

Tierney and Ryan were high school sweethearts, which is a story I don't hear quite as often these days. But that also means they brought their high school prom photos to the wedding, so I had to share one with everyone here because they are adorable.

We had a lovely handfasting this past week with spring colors to set the tone. I loved all their little interactive details from the photo scavenger hunt to the anniversary date idea cards to the take home pet treats sponsored by their cats. It was great.
