I have been touched by the 2 couples that I have had the honor to officiant their wedding. Saturday the couple had been together for a long time but the wait of the 2 years to get the visa one needed to come showed that their love could stand the test of time and distance. Small wedding but with so much love and support present.

Last night the couple had been together for 10 years and decided to finally get married. In the quiet of their home with their young daughter by their side they said their vows. Life had kept throwing them curve balls making the wedding they had wanted,dreamed and planned for just out of reach. The fact that I will marry a couple where they want/need it at and at a time that works for them is what made their intimate wedding possible.

This weekend I have another wedding and I am excited to see how this one unfolds. The beauty of each couple and wedding never ceases to amaze me.

From Kroger Starbucks, to the soccer fields, to the Indiana Statehouse and all sorts of places in between. I have had the honor to marry couples where it works for them and the challenges in life have less chances to interfere.

Jessica Milby Officiant and Notary Services the name will change as soon as my 60 days are up to reflect the new name of Signature Services LLC.

I am pleased to announce that I will be offering Notary Services as soon as my Notary stamp has been delivered. So hopefully by September 21st I can begin taking clients.

As March comes to a close I have to reflect on how far my business has come. 2 years as a officiant, 1 year as a registered LLC with the state of Indiana and most importantly I have had the honor or uniting so many couple and families in marriage. People think that a marriage license is just a piece a paper. However, that piece of paper changes things for couples and families. The spouse gets the legal right to speak for the other when needed, children get the protection of a family that they may not have had before. Lastly well it is almost tax season and married people do get a lot more tax deductions non single people do lol.

I want to take the time to thank all of my past clients, my friends, and others who have shared my name and booked with me. I pray I always am able to give my best service to every new client and make the wedding even just signing their license a special time for them.

No marriage is so small to not be treated like a grand event. License signing, courthouse, elopement, and more. I am excited to see where God takes this business in the coming year and am grateful for each opportunity I get to engage with a couple whether they book with me or not. Every encounter brings a lesson learned and a chance for growth in myself and my business.
