The Cookie Quest
-Tollhouse purchased refrigerated (you bake at home)

vs Original Toll House Cookie Recipe ( on the back of the semi sweet chips package)

Vs Cooks Illustrated “perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie”
Results: If you just have to have a cookie NOW and you need it to be easy- store bought blob & bake will do
If you still want a Fairly quick, sure fire version that promises great flavor & texture- whip up a batch of Tollhouse ( I like to put them in the fridge or freezer on the cookie sheet for 15 minutes before baking to firm up )
If you want a deeper, caramel flavor that is chewy and soft in the middle and crisper on the edge- try the Cooks Illustrated brown butter version. It uses dark brown sugar, and you brown the butter instead of using softened butter.

Bunny Club Reunion - lots of cute bunny ears, reminiscing, history lessons about downtown Columbus- (did you know there was once a roller skating rink on the second floor of the current Columbus Screen Printing building ?)
Sorry no tassels tonight, but back in the day they could have been purchased at William’s Bros. Fabric Store( later called Fashion N Fab on 14th st. None of our guests were “original bunnies”- but many were club guests!@
