Our advice: do your research before you set a number. Reach out to vendors, ask for pricing guides, and get a realistic picture of what weddings in your area cost. Then set your budget based on actual information, not assumptions. It is easier to fit your budget around the ACTUAL costs, than it is to fit vendors into your perceived budget.

Couples who research pricing early in the planning process tend to make decisions with a lot more confidence later on.

Timeless has always been positioned as something to achieve, but rarely something to question.

Truth is, what many couples have been taught to see as timeless was never about them. It was about what felt widely accepted. Safe. Repeated.

For example, neutral palettes, predictable layouts, familiar choices.

While there is nothing inherently wrong with those decisions, the reality is—they were never the only way to create something lasting.

What we’re seeing now is a shift. A quieter, more grounded understanding of what timeless actually means.

Not something that blends in, but something that holds its meaning over time.

At Zolana Weddings we tell our couples that timeless is not about choosing what has worked before. It’s about choosing what feels true now, in a way that will still feel right years from now.
