I’m officially heading to Designing Meetings People Actually Want to Attend — hosted by MPI Ohio Chapter — and the title alone has me saying, “YES. FINALLY.” 🙌🔥

It’s all happening at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel, and I’m ready to be in the room where better meetings are being designed. ⚡

Because let’s be real… nobody wants to sit through another event that feels like it could’ve been an email. 😅

For this celebration, a refined palette of crisp white, fresh greenery, soft blue details, and warm gold accents transformed the modern venue into a space that felt polished, welcoming, and intentional. Sculptural calla lilies brought height and movement, lush hydrangeas softened the room, and thoughtfully styled food, beverage, and gathering spaces carried the design throughout the entire guest experience.

Apparently, December has decided to send me back to school. 😂📚✨

From December 6–11, I’ll be heading to Hanover, New Hampshire for the Building a Successful Business program at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth—and I’m feeling incredibly grateful, excited, and honestly a little “wait… is this really happening?” about it.

This one-week program is designed to help entrepreneurs sharpen their strategy, leadership, marketing, financial, and operational skills—and turn real business challenges into actionable plans. In other words: less “working in the business,” more “stepping back and figuring out where the business is going next.” 👀

And a very heartfelt thank you to General Motors for sponsoring this opportunity. Being given the chance to learn, grow, connect with other entrepreneurs, and bring that knowledge back to Distinct Event Planning is a privilege I don't take lightly. 🤍
