Are Friday intros still a thing? Well anyhow 👋 ! Kimberly here! I was working on an edit from an amazing wedding day and ran across this image from my second shooter, Katie that really just captures me personally and professionally.

By this time of the day I was probably super sweaty, a bit tired and sore, but still feeding off the laughter and awesome energy of the day! I LOVE this part of capturing weddings! Being in the fray and just watching people let loose amid the joy of it all just makes me smile!

I’ve been at this for a long time now, and this part - capturing the joy in these moments (as well as the quiet in-between ones) just never gets old.

I feel things deeply, value relationships and community, and immensely appreciate the trust my clients continually place in me. Always asking myself “what will they want to remember from this moment?” and trying to let my heart direct those images as much as my eyes.

Anyhow, I love my job ❤️ Cheers to the weekend!

Congrats to Mikayla + Will on an epic start to your happily ever after! Their kindness and joyful energy are what truly made this day perfect, but the gorgeous Club at Corazon, made ever more beautiful by the talented Blooms by Amanda were the cherries on top of such a love-filled day! I was just in love with all of the colorful florals - accented with the most perfect pink peonies and peachy ruffle garden roses.

Just wanted to share an extra special congrats to these three talented dancers that graduated from Olentangy Liberty over the weekend. Olivia, Addi and Kenzie - I have loved getting to know you all over the past couple of years capturing what I’m sure is just scratching the surface of your journeys in dance and other life pursuits! Featuring two nature-loving twinning seniors today: Chloe + Cooper of Dublin Jerome Class of 2025! Since they were both interested in a similar outdoorsy vibe, they opted to split a longer session which allowed plenty of time for multiple outfits, individual photos as well as capturing a few fun photos together.

I scoped out the park ahead of time to be sure to capture the best light at various locations throughout the park - landing us creekside just in time for a gorgeous golden sunset.

Fun Fact: Some of my senior collections even include some bonus time for a mini session with other family members! (Hint: parents!)

Well the countdown is getting real for the Class of 2025! 🎓 I have loved getting to know and photograph such an awesome group of seniors this year from all over the Columbus area and beyond. This week’s senior spotlight is Maddie. I loved her session so much as we got such a nice variety of locations, including a few at the studio, German Village, and topped off with a gorgeous gold and pink sunset at the Audubon!

Had the best time hanging out with this sweet family last week! Such a gorgeous spring evening to catch up and chase around their little ones! I was lucky enough to meet Jill and Matt when I photographed their engagement and wedding several years ago, followed by another family wedding, some professional headshots and more than a few sessions as they grew their adorable family. So grateful for all the amazing people I get to meet in this line of work. Jill is one of those gems that just always makes you feel great to be around and so thankful our paths crossed! Always look forward to our sessions!

Bringing some sunshine to this raining day because Natalie and Matt’s wedding has been delivered and it is hands down one of my favorites.

Their day was so special. They never left each other’s side and the amount of laughter in every moment was truly unmeasurable.
