A traditional outdoor camp for children ages 6 to 12. Different themed activities provide a unique experience each session. Regardless of which session campers attend, their days will be filled with organized games, arts and crafts, swimming, and hiking and exploring our 167 wooded acres.

Lindsey is beyond excited to return for a second season at Camp Mary Orton. Lindsey joined the team last year as Adventure Academy’s Co-Director. During the school year, Lindsey is a kindergarten teacher. She loves getting to work at camp in the summer: watching kids develop friendships, setting up the zip lines, grilling on family night, and showing kids how to spot a turkey on the trails are just a few of the reasons why Lindsey is ready to have another awesome summer at CMO.

I started as a camp counselor and have worked my way into multiple positions; including event and corporate hosting, facilitating initiatives groups as well as our adventure elements and any odd jobs that need done. We certainly hope you are all well and enjoying the continued changing of the seasons. As we are nearing the end of the calendar year, we continue working on planning for the upcoming Camp Mary Orton summer season. We are happy to announce that 2023 summer registration will occur on January 17th, 2023, at 10:00 am. Through the Active Works system. This year we will be having three different programs offered at CMO.

Our classic Adventure Academy and Discovery Day Camp programs will return for eight individual weeklong sessions beginning June 12th. Just as in previous years, your 7 to 14-year-old campers can join Adventure Academy for high energy experiences that feature:
➢ Team building
➢ Indoor and outdoor wall climbing
➢ Archery
➢ High ropes and zipline
➢ A trip to ZipZone Outdoor Adventure’s Adventure park
➢ A family night event
➢ Swimming
➢ And much more.

We will also offer our Discovery Day Camp program featuring fun weekly themes encouraging campers to play, create, and explore our 167-acre property. While in Discovery Day Camp, your campers will enjoy the following:
➢ Team building
➢ Hiking
➢ Creeking
➢ Arts and Crafts
➢ Archery
➢ Shelter Building
➢ Visits from The Ohio School of Falconry (Select weeks only)
