CMO counselors are already putting in the work to make this summer unforgettable!
Our Adventure Academy and Discovery Day Camp teams have officially completed the first week of training and are building skills in adventure activities, team-building, games, and group management to ensure every camper has a fun, safe, and supportive experience.
But this training is about more than just planning great activities. It’s about preparing to create a space where young people can grow in confidence, build relationships, and discover what they’re capable of, which is core to our mission of helping individuals reach their next step.
We can’t wait to welcome campers this summer and watch those next steps begin at Camp Mary Orton .

We are truly blown away by the incredible generosity of our community!

Thanks to your support, we’ve raised an amazing amount for our Campership Fund—opening the door for more kids to experience the joy and impact of summer camp.

A very special thank you to Gifts for Good Foundation, the City of Columbus, and The Columbus Foundation for their extraordinarily generous contributions. Your leadership is helping make camp possible for so many young people.

For many kids, summer camp isn’t just fun—it’s transformational. It’s where friendships are formed, confidence grows, and kids get the chance to explore, learn, and simply be kids in a safe and supportive environment.

A huge thank you to U.S. Bank for showing up in such a big way on May 13!

With a team of dedicated volunteers helping us prepare camp for the summer season, so much important work got done to make sure everything is ready for our campers. From setting up spaces to tackling projects across camp, their energy and commitment made a lasting impact.

We’re so grateful to our partners from Chase Bank who recently spent time at Camp Mary Orton clearing trails and helping us get ready for the season ahead. Because of their hard work, campers will arrive next month to a space that’s welcoming, safe, and ready for exploration.
