I created Sweet Blossom because I genuinely love to celebrate. It’s always been that way for me, and I’m so thankful my family instilled that sense of wonder in me growing up. And truly, I think it is a superpower, the ability to notice, and to see beauty in the everyday.
Celebrations in our home weren’t always grand gestures. More often, it was the small things that left the most lasting impressions. We’d share walks exploring nature, wear homemade birthday crowns, and have tea parties outside. Those moments were made meaningful simply because my mom took the time (and her diy skills) to make our milestones feel like time stood still for us, and the joys we shared as a family.
And while life has a way of pulling us through our days without pause, I think it’s important that we never lose that instinct to celebrate, even for ourselves. If we aren’t romanticizing our lives a little, what are we even doing?
I started SB during a season where life felt hopeless for many, and wonderless for me, and at its root, this business has always been about joy. Joy in beauty, joy in connection, joy in making people feel seen, cared for, and most importantly, celebrated.
This weekend, I hope you’re finding something to celebrate. If you’re a mom, I hope you know how impactful those small acts of wonder you instill in your children mean. I hope you never forget how much your love means. If you’re struggling today, I hope you find something beautiful worth pausing for. I hope you celebrate yourself, your growth, your effort, even if that may feel small, it is anything but insignificant. There is always something worthy of celebration, especially you.
