As I’m packing up to go get lost somewhere north of Albion tonight for an extended family session, I figured it’s the perfect time to share some favorites from Tiffany’s family session a couple years ago... you know...because I’m the worst at posting photos on social media 😆

I always feel so honored when Tiffany or Kelli reaches out to book a session. Tonight’s extra special because I get to photograph not only Tiffany’s crew again, but also her parents and her siblings’ families all together. And we truly couldn’t have asked for a better day!

📸 Hey there! I figured it was about time I introduced myself.
I’m Ginger—photographer, videographer, and the face behind Remember When Photo & Video. And this is my beautiful chaos. 😄

Meet my amazing boyfriend, Luke, and between the two of us, we have 7 kids:
💗 My girls – Jada, Josie, and Layla
💗 His crew – Rylee, Ashlee, Evan, and Ava

This photo was taken during our recent trip to the Florida Keys and believe it or not—it’s the first full family photo we’ve ever had together. Coordinating nine people for a picture is no joke… especially when you’re in the photo and you’re the photographer in an unfamiliar location in a different climate with a fast setting sunset.😅

This moment was captured with my camera on a tripod, using my phone as a remote trigger… which Luke controlled while sneakily hiding it behind Layla.

I’ve been photographing families and weddings for years, and this reminded me exactly why I do what I do—because these photos matter. One day, this will be someone’s “remember when.”

Heads up! I’ll be on vacation July 21 to 28, spending some much-needed family time and making new memories while the kids are still (kinda) young, even though three of them are already young adults. 😅

Time is going way too fast, and I’m long overdue for a pause to focus on my people and take some time to make and capture some memories of my own.

While I’m out of office and living in the moment (but still probably taking a million photos because I can’t help myself), I’d love to hear from you.

I can’t believe it’s already been a year since Kallie Swearingen & Trevor’s engagement session. These two were so easy to hang out with and photograph—just super chill and sweet together.

Now we’re only THREE weeks away from their wedding day and I seriously cannot wait. It’s going to be a great day.

The calm before the storm!
I always love this quiet setup time before wedding photos kick off for the day — just me, the church, and a few minutes to myself before everything gets rolling. I always like to take a little bit of time to say a quick prayer for the day and for the couple.

Hey everyone, I wanted to take a moment to share a personal update. My mom passed away Sunday evening, and I’ve been spending time with my family, helping my dad with arrangements, and preparing for her Celebration of Life this Saturday.

Hey friends! Just a heads-up—I’ll be out of state from February 28 to March 10 for a mix of business and a little fun! I’m heading to a photography conference to refresh on the business side of things, soak up some inspiration with fellow photographers, and take a little vacation for a much-needed recharge before 2025 wedding season kicks off soon.
