Today the Huey Helicopter Dedication Ceremony was held at the Missouri's National Veteran's Memorial in Perryville.

Monroe County Veterans and community please stop by to commemorate our local veteran Richard Daughtery. Mr. Daughtery served as Huey Helicopter Crew Chief in Vietnam and became a casualty of war August 26th, 1968.

🇺🇲🥾🪖Today, we salute those who fought "The Forgotten War." 🪖🥾🇺🇲

June 25, 2025, commemorates the 75th anniversary of the start of the Korean War. The war began in 1950 when North Korean forces crossed the 38th parallel and invaded South Korea. While the armistice signed on July 27, 1953, ended the fighting, the war never officially ended due to the lack of a peace treaty. Bravo Zulu to those who kept us safe! You are not forgotten❣️

Thank you to everyone who came out to help us with food donations! Our members, auxiliary and neighbors turned up and supported like they always do!!! We had lots leftover so we got in contact with a group that was heading out to feed the victims of the tornado who are currently homeless and in shelters. So all in all it was a great success!!! Thank you to this wonderful community of people!! Let’s do this again soon!!!
