Well, well, well ladies and gentlemen, today is an awesome and special day. Today is the day that God decided to let Ann Smith into this world and give her life. Today is the day that my mother was born and I am so grateful, thankful, blessed, and honored to have her as my mother. I would not change our journey together for the world and I love my mother to infinite and beyond. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

As we close out black history month I want you to remember these 3 things. 1. Our past is our past we cannot go back and change it, we can only learn from what was. 2. The present is what we have to change, we take what we have learned from our past and use that knowledge to implement change in the present. 3. The future is what we look forward to seeing the work we put in in the present from the lessons we learned from the past. So if you are not doing what it takes in the present to help change the future by making sure the past does not repeat itself, then I suggest you start.

HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH EVERYONE! Black history month was made to be in February because this gentleman's birthday falls during this month! This is one of my idols and role models, I truly respect, honor, and love Frederick Douglass! He is one of the forefathers for all things black history, without him there are lots of people, places, and things that would not have seen change! I have new goals, new aspirations, new challenges, and new blessings headed my way and I hope you all do as well.
