The Art Of Living Well- a Longevity and Aging Workshop for Women 35+
Brought to you by the University Of South Carolina Sustain Lab and F45 Forest Acres.
This collaborative and empowering workshop is designed for women 35 and older who are navigating the complexities of aging and are seeking practical tools, insights, and support to embrace the changes that come with this life stage.
We’ll explore the physiological changes that occur during perimenopause and menopause, common symptoms such as hormonal fluctuations, sleep disturbances, mood shifts, and weight changes, and the science behind these transformations.
More importantly, we’ll discuss actionable steps to manage and embrace this phase, including nutrition, exercise, lifestyle habits, and wellness practices.
The Art Of Living Well Workshop will empower women to reframe aging as an exciting opportunity for growth, health, and self-discovery, enabling them to thrive in every stage of life.
Through expert-led discussions and interactive exercises, participants will:
Understand the Science of Aging: Learn about the natural processes of aging, including changes in metabolism, hormones, and skin health, and how to maintain vitality.
Adopt Holistic Wellness Practices: Learn how to adapt your workouts to support bone health, metabolism, and overall well-being with smart exercise strategies. We’ll cover key movement considerations, demo practical exercises, and explore tools and resources that will help you train intuitively. Discover how to personalize intensity, recover effectively, and stay strong and functional throughout the lifespan.
Food Preparation and Smoothie Making:
Through tried and true methods, learn how to set yourself up for success and create a delicious meal that includes all the incredible supplements you will learn about during the workshop, combined with nutritious whole foods- that actually taste really good. ***This workshop is free to F45 members, family and friends! Registration required- link below. Also, though the bulk of material covered will be specific to women 35+, you do not have to be 35 to attend- all ages are welcome 😁
