"WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SHRIMP & GRITS LADY?!?" Hey Everyone!! Just wanted to give you an update...Most of my long time customers know of my history with back issues & Crohn's Disease...well this Summer was no exception! Since the beginning of July, I've been hospitalized 4 times with Crohn's issues...the last one on Aug 29th...I thought I was on the mend...even went out to celebrate my birthday (8/26), then 3 days later I had to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency bowel resection due to a blockage in my Colon. While they were operating, several other issues were discovered that doubled my surgery time to over 6hrs with 3 surgeons...I spent 2wks in the hospital and have been home recovering since... It's going well and I hope to be back up & out at before the New Year comes. I miss you all soo much!😘 #
