We had a lot of fun cooking a Valentine's dinner tonight! We made a pickled beet, herbed goat cheese and tea-soaked quail egg canape, seared scallops in a miso beurre blanc, a poached pear salad with whipped citrus ricotta, candied pecans and citrus vinaigrette, then smoked lamb chops with paves and roasted asparagus. We didn't snag a photo of the scallops but they were delicious!
