It all started in August 2000, with an invite to a wedding, I took a look at the wedding registry and as a single mother of three, recently divorced and struggling to make ends meet I knew beyond the shadow of a doubt I wasn’t going to be able to purchase even the smallest cheapest item listed on that registry and I knew I it was not good ethics to go to a wedding empty handed. After praying about it and stressing I realized custom made gifts are usually more special and appreciated so I decided to make something similar to what I had originally thought about purchasing!! I made my very own custom gift basket and got rave reviews which lead to additional orders and the birth of the manifestation of my creativity and to the amazing thriving business which is today know as Determined Sisters!!
