Employee Engagement is crucial to employee happiness in the workplace! From the moment I was given an employee engagement budget at Fresh Ideas to operating my bar I ran with employee engagement! You name it, I’ve planned it for my team! We’ve had a massage therapist come in after long work weeks, we’ve gone bowling and played laser tag, I’ve brought a reiki master in, we’ve gone on weekend trips to wine country, weekend trips to St. Louis to the City Museum and a haunted tour of the Lemp Mansion. We’ve even done float trips, hockey games, the Symphony and more! Even our team meetings I tried to make fun, team building, and engaging! Puzzle challenges, scavenger hunts, and during the mundane works weeks we’ve hidden scratch off tickets all over the kitchen for employees to find throughout the day! Make it FUN! Create a culture!
