He’d never had cotton candy before.

A few years ago, we made a bold move at Frios Gourmet Pops. We phased out our retail storefronts and went fully mobile. It wasn’t easy, but it changed everything.

We believed then, as we do now, that joy should be delivered. Not just sold behind a counter. Our Sweet Rides let us meet people where they are, lower the barrier to entry for franchisees, and create real connections in the community.

Now Forbes is sharing that story. Big thanks to Gary Stern for telling it. This is about more than frozen treats. It’s about freedom, hustle, and building something that moves.

Currently Frios Gourmet Pops has 108 mobile trucks, all franchised, and 3 existing stores with legacy owners in Gadsden, Al., Cullman, Al, and Tulsa, Ok.
