You may see the photos of the first look, the vows, and the dance floor moments, but our favorite work often happens quietly, just out of frame.

Behind every seamless ceremony and effortless reception is a timeline built down to the minute, texts to vendors confirming arrival times, backup plans for the backup plans, and a calm voice checking in on you to be sure you’ve eaten, breathed, and truly soaked it all in.

As your wedding planner, we’re the ones straightening place settings before guests arrive, cueing the music at just the right moment, and handling the unexpected so you never even know it happened. Our goal is simple: you feel present, unrushed, and fully free to enjoy the day you’ve been dreaming of.

If you’re ready for a wedding day that feels easy, organized, and completely you, book your wedding date now.

There are two moments of wedding day that fulfill us and remind us of why we do:

1) Sending the bride down the aisle (of course)
2) Watching people having the time of their lives on a full dance floor.

There is something magic about taking a 5 minute break as things slow down, to stand on the sideline and just watch. People are filled with glee celebrating love with drinks, dancing, and good music.

There's a cocktail for a good dancefloor:
- the right guest list
- a great DJ/Band
- a cohesive timeline

A wedding planner will help you curate all of these. Let's work together to plan a night that ends in a full and fun dancefloor. Book your date now!

Andrew & Maria's beachside wedding was an unforgettable experience as the couple exchanged vows in front of the sunset over the Tampa Bay. Not only did friends and family get to witness their union, but they got to live through their love story.

The couple met at work, as Maria was newer to the states and self-concious about her English and accent. That didn't matter to Andrew, who loved her just the way she is. He loved her so much he made her his wife and translated part of his vows to Spanish, so that her family traveling in from Colombia could understand.

It's moments like these that make our hearts flutter and eyes water. We can imagine how it feels being loved ones witnessing these moments.

Join me at Charletson on July 13th from 1-4pm at to learn, discover, connect and experience together with the best that Charleston has to offer! We are so excited to have come to CHS and provide this safe space for no-ego networking and real talk about the wedding industry.

State of the Wedding Industry is a unique take on meaningful networking for busy wedding professionals. More than just business cards, it is an event where every attendee comes away with new connections, more followers on social media, and a newfound community. Learn about the latest trends locally, how that compares to the global data in the industry, and how to use this information to make good decisions about the future of your business.

Mastermind Dinner is after State of the Wedding Industry and continues the momentum you started there by providing a group coaching session over a delicious meal, creating strategies and plans as well as new connections for accountability. If you find yourself with the same goals on your to-do list (but it gets transferred from list to list - never actually getting done), this is for you. Get the outside perspective you need to reach the goals you haven't achieved yet.

We have a great sponsor team in the works:

& more to come! If you are interested in sponsoring, feel free to send me a DM!

Hope to see you there! Link in bio for tickets!

🤍✨️ A little bit about Sammond Events founder, Kylie Sammond.

I have been in the wedding and events industry for over 12 years. My experience has ranged from working in venues to working in resorts like Canyon Ranch and Disney World. I started Sammond Events over 2 years ago and am grateful for the journey and connections I have made so far.

We just had our son around 6 months ago and life hasn't been the same ever since! We are often at the library and the zoo, taking it all in! We don't share much about him online, but sometimes you will catch a glimpse of the back of his cute head.

I am also the very proud mom to a 13 year old rescue dog, and we are about to celebrate a decade of fur-ever in May. Some of my non-negotiables of everyday are to take him for a sniff walk and a 20 minute treadmill walk.

Japanese culture plays a big role in the Sammond house! My husband's mother is from Osaka so there are many traditions we keep in our family. Some are, no shoes in the house and giving our children Japanese middle names - just like my husband!

I've lived in a handful of states including Arizona, Georgia, and Florida; but California is where I consider home and most of my family remain. Some of you have even gotten a taste of my home in a bottle!🍷

If you're new around here, it is lovely to meet you. If you have been here for a while, I appreciate you!

Also, huge shoutout on the first 3 photos to .studios 📷
