After graduating from Missouri’s Journalism school, Molly started her own photography business and has been absolutely killing it- she is driven, passionate, whimsical and creative. Her skills go beyond the camera- she’s so good at making people comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

Rachel’s dad spent weeks creating an outdoor ceremony space- and when wedding day came, it rained. Still, I can’t imagine a more perfect wedding day.

Floral & Events] flipped the Hugo’s home into a gorgeous ceremony space. As thunder boomed and rain tapped the windows, the ceremony felt magical and sublime.
//
Just as the sun was going down, we caught a small window when it was just raining, not pouring. We slipped out with COLORADO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER] and stole a few beautiful portraits as the sun set over the Rockies.
//
So often, people think they can plan the perfect wedding day- in reality, the best plan you can have is a team that is equipped to handle the inevitable audibles of the day. Jacob & Rachel did just that, and what could have been a frustrating battle with weather became an intimate and unforgettable wedding day.

Every year, Rachel’s parents watch their wedding film. It’s not a distant memory, but the day lives on as a reminder of real and living promises made all those years ago. Rachel came to me looking for something similar, so we worked together to make her wedding film vision come true. With a more doc style edit on the way, I wanted to get a little experimental with this surprise trailer for them!

Jacob and Rachel are the gold standard for working as a team- these two are driven, thoughtful, caring and wildly funny. I am so excited for them to relive their day through their full wedding film!

The other day, someone asked “what is your favorite part of the wedding day?”

It’s so hard to answer that question because each day is so different- I don’t have an answer for weddings in general, but each film certainly has its own favorite moments; each day has its peak moments of joy that distinguishes it from the rest.
