All set up and ready to greet customers who are braving the cold monsoon this morning. 🤣 Hopefully by 10 AM we are on the other side of this. I have soup mixes to take home and warm up with today.

My next event is right around the corner! This event is 18 years old and has less than 500 followers. WHAT??!! A tradition this long should have a huge following. Can we help boost their page? Please share this, especially if you are in or near Clinton County, and give them a follow. I just read they have about a 125 vendors this year, which is incredible.

Carol was my vendor neighbor the last three days. She works for Amish Donuts and travels all over the country year round. She has very little time for herself.

The last four years, she has been suffering from a severe rash on her shin. It is large and covers most of her right shin. When she showed it to me, all I could think was that looks very painful. She heard me speaking to a customer about the Barefoot on the Dock tallow that I make. She bought a small jar and took it with her last night. She applied a small amount to her leg covering the entire area.

As soon as she got to her tent this morning, she came over to see me. She told me that for the first time in 4 years, her leg did not itch all night and cause her distress. 🩷 She applied just a little more this morning before coming to work and checked in with me several times during the day to tell me that she was still itch free. She has struggled so much trying everything to heal it.

She also told me she was so excited about it, she called her daughter AND her boss to tell them. I told her I could not guarantee medicinal healing from it but I COULD guarantee moisture. Dry, cracked skin can be so very painful

I also had another customer this week that had a breakout of shingles and the itchiness of the rash was causing her sleepless nights. She applied it to her rash and had the first decent night's sleep in quite a while.

I'm so happy that I was able to help both of these ladies. Natural healing is the BEST healing.
