Some moments are simply too beautiful not to capture. ❤️🖤

These black-and-white images were taken many years ago while I was visiting New York. The young couple were friends, and although I was not their official wedding photographer, I had the opportunity to photograph some of the beautiful moments of their wedding celebration.

There is something timeless about black-and-white photography. It has a way of removing distractions and allowing the emotion, connection, laughter, and quiet moments to become the focus.

Looking back at these photographs reminds me why I have always loved photography. Weddings are filled with genuine, unscripted moments that happen only once, and having the ability to preserve those memories through photographs is something I truly value.

Today, I bring that same appreciation for authentic moments and storytelling to my wedding photography here in Oregon.
