So I found out through the blood work & spinal tap I had week before last, that I've had not only West Nile virus, but Epstein-Barr virus as well. Combined with all of the PHYSICALLY VISIBLE issues that I've been able to document with imaging: no wonder I'm exhausted and in pain all the time. Why did it take until I was nearly 44 to get these screenings? Why is it still basically impossible to get the medications that help me that most? I'm also in absolute f**ktons of pain becasue the pharmacist at walmart decided that her discomfort should further impede my ability to access my medications, without any concern about MY DISCOMFORT due to her moralistic judgment sending me into withdrawl. I mean... THANK GOD I'm allergic to pharmaceutical fentanyl and can't risk illicit substances what so ever; seeing as they're most likely fentanyl, cut with xylazine or something else designed to kill the end user. And THANK GOD production of LEGAL, FDA APPROVED opioid pain relievers has been slashed year after year for at least the past 4 years! I mean!... Now there's ABSOLUTELY ZERO safe supply of illicit drugs. People with serious health conditions can't get LEGAL medications to help them and overdoses are up over 600%. On top of all that, so many abandoned chronic pain patients are unaliving themselves, that the University of Alabama & Stefan Kertesz are studying just how many...

I mean... way to go CDC. You're managing to kill more people per year than opiates ever did. I hope this is the result you wanted when you failed to properly screen the architects of the '16 & '22 guidelines for COI's. And considering most of the authors had EXTENSIVE conflicts, y'all REALLY screwed the disabled community with your bald faced LIES regarding the dangers of opioids. There's so much blood on the hands of the CDC collectively. I really hope theyre proud of themsewlves for targeting the diaabled when the rate of addiction in chronic pain patients is around 0.01%. "TOTES WORTH IT! CELEBRATORY BOOZE AND CI**RS IN VICTORY OF DENYING SAFE PAIN TREATMENT TO PAIN PATIENTS! EXTRA MARGARITAS FOR WHOEVER CAN INFLICT THE MOST PTSD ON THE MOST PEOPLE! I know everything is financially tight for everyone, just like it’s been for me & my family, but my birthday is June 15th & I’m just throwing it out there that if anyone loves me enough to chip in together to get me a hang drum, I’d be so freakin honored. I’ve wanted one for years, & my birthdays have been… oh I dunno… lackluster… depressing… lonely… broke… for a while now so if 6 friends could chip in $10, or 12 could chip in $5… whatever amount you can do…

I would just love to camp in my backyard with this beauty right here & play music in front of my fire pit, & try to freakin’ relax. But every time I want to do anything for my birthday, it doesn’t happen & it becomes just another day for me.

Either this, or I’d be honored for anyone to make a donation to 91.5 KRCC in my name, because I’ve always wanted to support public radio; but again, finances are strangling us, & don’t seem to loosen their grip.

But I’ll certainly accept any birthday wishes of happiness with or without anything materialistic because I think everyone is struggling right now, not just me.

But I just wanted to put my two birthday wishes out into the aether; just in case something magical happens…
