This Friday, 9/25 (9 to 5), Shivers Taphouse is celebrating Dolly Parton!!! So, wear your best Dolly gear for a prized costume contest at 9pm. But get there early, karaoke starts at 7pm-11. Sing your favorite Dolly song and get a free shot served in a souvenir pink cowgirl boot shot glass! Dolly customed drinks, too: Enjoy an Islands in the Stream frozen cocktail, a Cup of Ambition Espresso Martini, or a Coat of Many Colors cocktail. That's not all....proceeds from every Yeti's Ice-shot purchased will be donated to Dolly's Imagination Library, her charity giving a free book each month to children from birth til age 5. As Dolly would say: "The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.” "Find out who you are. 📣 A little Local Motive PSA: BE A GOOD HUMAN. ❤️

98% of the people who ride with us are AMAZING humans. Seriously. You show up ready to have fun, meet new people, support local businesses, tip your bartenders and guides, and make some ridiculously fun memories.

That’s exactly what The Local Motive is here for.

But this summer, we’ve seen a little more of the other 2% than we’d like. So, a friendly reminder of what we’re about:

❤️ Support local. Please don’t walk into a small, locally owned business and leave a 1-star review because one thing didn’t go your way. Reviews MATTER to small businesses. If there’s an issue, talk to someone and give them a chance to make it right.

❤️ Be kind to the humans around you. Be aware of your surroundings. Respect other riders, our staff, bartenders, servers, and everyone else you encounter along the way.

❤️ Tip your people. Our guides, bartenders, servers, musicians, and other local service-industry folks work hard to make your night fun.

❤️ Don’t expect free stuff. Supporting local means actually supporting local. Please don’t walk into our partner stops expecting freebies, discounts, or special treatment just because you arrived on our bus or bike.

❤️ And most importantly: don’t be an as***le. 😂 We really didn’t think this one needed to be said, but apparently we’re adding it to the list.

We do not condone disrespectful behavior on The Local Motive. If any of the above sounds like you, we might not be the experience for you — and that’s okay.

But if you’re part of that 98% who comes to laugh too loud, sing terribly, make new friends, support local, tip your people, and BE A GOOD HUMAN…
