Long time, no see 👋

It’s been a minute since I’ve said hi, so here are some updates!

- I’ve only got one more wedding this year, and I’ll be heading to Texas for it. I may not want to live in Texas again, but I do love seeing slices of home. Plus, I’ll get to see my mom!
- Once I’m done with all my editing, I’ll be getting back on writing my books (yes, there’s two!). I have one that’s very close to being done, and another that only has an outline. I’m excited to get back into a different creative outlet.
- I’m hitting a lot of fitness goals this year, and am actually surprised at myself (but also proud). I plan on running my first 10k by the end of the year—and if you knew me when I was younger, you’d know that running was never my thing lol.
- I’m slowly learning about sourdough and although it has been challenging, it’s not stopping me from experimenting with food.
- I’ve read 89 books so far this year, with a goal of 100. My favorites have been Jurassic Park, The Kite Runner, The Descent, Sunrise on the Reaping, Slewfoot, and Afterlife: A light-hearted look at the business of death.
- I’m not sure what’s going on lately, but I feel so at peace. With over 10 years of work, with my home, with myself. I hope the rest of 2025 feels like this 🖤

Did my annual self portraits a little different this year by basing them off things I love.

- reading 📚I read 89 books last year and am aiming for 100 this year. My favorite genres are fantasy and horror. If you’re on Goodreads, comment so we can be book buddies! AND I actually started writing last year. I have 3 books in the works, I’ll let you know if I ever publish lol.
- film 🎞️ I love shooting 35mm for clients, but it all started when my late uncle gifted me his film cameras and allowed me to discover something new in photography. I love taking photos of nature, buildings, and cars. I also collect vintage camera (and other stuff) and currently have 16 film cameras.
- coffee ☕️ I actually made my own coffee with custom roasted beans last year. I love gifting some to my clients and of course making plenty of recipes here at home!
- shoes 👠 I actually have quite a large collection of shoes (many of which are not pictured here) and although I rarely wear them, I absolutely love them! Tbh I should’ve added my hiking boots, that’s the pair I wear often lol.
- movies 🍿 I actually went to college for film studies and still love analyzing films with my friends and partner. Learning more about film helped my creativity blossom in photography, and I continue to make small projects for myself on occasion.
- my company ©️ it all started with an idea filled with passion. I’ve met countless amazing people, seen the most beautiful places, and have had many wonderful experiences because of my job. I’m proud of where I am, and where I’m yet to be.
