Did you know Norris Penrose Event Center & Campground has direct access to Bear Creek Regional Park and its trail system?

Take it from the bears. 🐻🐻

A mama and her cub stopped by for a visit this morning near the trail entrance, and one of our campground guests captured this incredible Colorado moment!

*No bears, creeks, campers, or campground guests were harmed in the making of this video.*

And sorry not sorry, Norris Penrose Campground does not allow tent or pop-up camping—for obvious and not-so-obvious safety reasons.

The Pioneer-Rodeo was truly something special this year! Not only did a ton of younger aspiring rodeo fans attend, but Forrie J Smith came for a meet and greet experience! A true cowboy that man is.

We also had the Princess of Western Legacy Ambassadors and Miss Colorado Princess make very special appearances over the weekend.

The Pioneer Rodeo did an immaculate job of bringing the Colorado Springs community together, providing an excellent western experience, and making it fun!
